Stress management
There is no denying that we all are exposed to more stress in our lives today than in times past. Our bodies haven’t adjusted to these new levels. With the ability to work and travel globally, we have less community and family support than previous generations. With the ability to get real time news from all over the world, we are inundated with crises and disturbing scenes that flood our sensory systems. Stress management is no longer relegated to those who have a tendency to be anxious or fearful. It is a necessary tool for all of us. Techniques are not a one size fits all approach. Some people benefit from meditation and for others it is not that helpful. We can work together to figure out what types of stress management techniques would work best for you and your schedule. We can explore what types of exercise would be doable for you with your commitments. It is also important to explore whether changes need to be made in your life to minimize stress and live a more peaceful life.
